Wanda
I have always been a bit cat crazy. I have been a cat owner almost continuously since I was 35. Now that I am retired from teaching (30 years), I want to turn this passion into a career. As a cat owner, I know the dilemma of what to do with Kitty (or Gary or Buttons) when I want to travel. Our preference is to leave our cat, Otis, at home. This way he remains in his home territory and feels safe and secure. We are so happy to be able to offer this service to you and your cats as well. I myself am an ardent fan of Jackson Galaxy. I have learned so much from his show, “My Cat from Hell”. At one point Otis and our cat at the time, Earl, developed several serious behaviour issues and Jackson’s advice corrected the behaviour. We volunteered at CATS as part of their Care Team for two years (August 2020 to August 2022).

I was the proverbial dog lover until I met Wanda and our first cat, Kunta Kinte. Kunta was a large all-black neutered male who was as cool as the name suggests. He was loving, patient, gentle and full of personality. I am a retired high school teacher. I taught English Literature at the IBO level (International Baccalaureate Organization) for twenty years. I continue to tutor students who are in this program.
